World Youth Skills Day 2025!

  World Youth Skills Day 2025! We gathered alongside young people at Hilton Garden Inn in Mbabane with educators, and policymakers to reflect on this year’s theme: “Youth Skills for Peace and Prosperity.”  This forum was proudly supported by the European Union in Eswatini, hosted by Eswatini National Youth Council, and in full swing was the Eswatini Youth Advisory Board.  The representative from UNESCO Eswatini National Commission for UNESCO Ms. Lwandle Simelane emphasized the need to address issues of cyber bullying and urged the room not be a bystanders to such. She then motivated young people in a quote "No one is coming for you, stand up and own spaces, if there is no door create it" My take home, was Mr Dlamini's speech on ensuring that traditional leaders know the Youth policy, operationalizing it so to ensure clear implementation. A call to action to the minister of sports, youth and culture to decentralise services to young people especially in rural areas. This ...
